All of our athletes start from a foundation of health. We work on balanced nutrition to support our activity, proper recovery to enhance our adaptations and strength and endurance training to promote overall health. AND only from there can we dive off to more specific endurance goals of triathlon, marathons, etc. ONLY from a foundation of health can you achieve your wildest goals.

Coach Noel Kosiek

As a coach and trainer since 1999, Noel Kosiek has successfully coached hundreds of aspiring athletes through their first triathlon and many others to achieve personal records. Noel has been an avid triathlete since 1996, including completing four Ironman Triathlons and various other endurance events.  As a mother of four young boys, she understands and respects that time is limited.  She is an expert at making the most of every training moment and ensuring that her athletes get the absolute most of each training session. Noel believes that health is paramount and only from there can we achieve our wildest dreams.

Noel has a BS from Cal Poly SLO and Cornell certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship. Noel is a certified USAT Triathlon Coach, Slowtwitch certified Master Triathlon Coach, ACE Personal Trainer, Johnny G Spin Instructor, STAGES Power certified and is certified in Pre/Postnatal Conditioning.

I joined Tri Grit with the goal of getting in shape and working with Noel on a fitness and nutrition plan. I was a little intimidated to work out with the group of experienced triathletes. What I found is an incredibly kind and supportive group, led by Noel, who is super smart, encouraging, down to earth, realistic, fun, and a go-getter. Noel means business, AND she meets you where you are. It's been a blast and really rewarding."
